Journey to Victory

Today is the departure day for us to go to Moscow, for a very simple reason ------ 4th Malaysian Games. This event is like the peak of the year, everyone is very excited about it, no matter he or she is a player or supporter. From VSMU, there will be 93 of us. I’ll be representing in Table- tennis and of course I want to emerge as the champion, but the most important thing of all is to have fun and meet new friends. So my friends, I’ll be having my competition tomorrow, from 4pm to 2am (Malaysian time), so do give me your support, all of us had trained hard and our hearts are all full with larva just waiting to be explode during the competition.

Bad news:
1. Yesterday, when me and my roommate where waiting for the bus to get back. Suddenly, from behind a fat lady in her 40-ies started shouting at us, as we are foreigners: asking us to go back, giving us history lesson about Germany, blah……blah……. Blah……..But we just ignored her and continue waiting until the bus came. This is actually the 2nd time I experienced this but the 1st wasn’t that intense and during the 1st time, there where actually a lot of us, as we are all on our way for lecture.

2. This morning, I went to the big freezer wanting to take my chicken out to defrost so I can cook lunch before leaving to Moscow. Guess what>???? My whole Tupperware of chicken gone missing, I continued my searching quest as beside that Tupperware, I have another 2 chicken which I bought and haven’t chop yet, isshshh…….the whole plastic was torn open with only 1 inside (so good of the thief for leaving one for me). I ended eating porridge for lunch.

Thank God that I am still high in spirit not being affected by any of these, so please pray for safety and journey mercy and that all of us will have fun together. One more request, to win as the champion, hehehehe…………..

Less tah 3 more months to go

Less than 3 more months to go, than I will finally end my 1st year of studies and go back to the place that I always wanted to be, but some how in my heart besides having the excitement and anxious heart I am also full of fear. Fearing at how people will look at me and even more to tread me, will people tread me the same??? Will I be leaved out??? Being an alien in everything and all I can do is just to observe from far and be happy for them, but I am very stingy I myself want to be happy as well.

In my heart there is actually a dream at how I wish everything will be at the very first moment I come out from the departure door and close my eyes to end the first day of my stay in Penang 2007. Well, I will be praying for it and we all shall stay tuned and see what will happen by that time ;)

Koinonia

Koinonia ------ Is a fellowship of believers who are committing themselves to Jesus Christ and to each other in love, respect, and service. It is our desire to be a local body of believers cooperating with the Lord Jesus Christ as He builds us and the rest of His church.

Today is the 1st year anniversary of our church, and it was an awesome church service, all of us dressed up in our own native outfit, by the way we have students from America, Malaysia, Africa, China, Russia, Vietnam and England (visitor). The performance by the Africans where really great, the way they put all their voices together is really a kind of music that U can never hear in Malaysia. Personally, I loved and enjoyed today’s service. The testimonials given where touching and refreshing, it is like hot water being poured into a teapot with Earl Grey tea leaves. I lead today’s P&W, and the last song was “Let us be one voice” I initiated by joining our hands together and walau eh……. Just imagine, the kind of united feeling is very good, it is just a simple understanding that all churches, especially in Malaysia need to understand and never slip it away.

We took some pictures, I’ll show U all some time later when I get my hands on them. By the way, there was this breaking news, today our Pastor invited someone to come up and he suddenly just announce that this sis of ours is already been Baptist this morning, none of us knew about it because she wanted to do it quietly, its just simply because she is a ‘horse come people’ ---- TLBC youth should understand what that stands for, so I am really thankful and grateful to God for all that He have done and is still doing for this Koinonia church. Koinonia is a Greek word meaning Fellowship.
