Everything is changing

Phew…….the weather is just gonna get hotter and hotter. For the past week it has really been something new for me. Now I can really dress up like I do in M’sia, not even needing an outer coat. Now the weather here is around 31’C and trust me that it is really very hot (it has been 8mths since I last experienced tropical weather) and the problem is that our room does not have a fan yet and all our classrooms in the Uni are also not equipped with any fan. And also with the sun smiling so brightly I finally got back my sun tan, not as fair as I used to be.

Something very unique about the summer over here (summer actually starts officially next month), it snows. They are actually not snow but just a mimicry of it, it is actually seeds of a kind of tree, that produces so much seeds that it flies all over the air as if it is snowing, some even gather around on the roadside like bundles of wheat balls but just that it is in white color. Everyday, the sun rises around 4am in the morning and sets around 10pm in the night. Now we even have mosquitoes everywhere that sometimes it irritates, just like how it was at home, and I just enjoy telling my friends about the electrical racket and us the Khoo family playing with it among ourselves.

For less than 2months than I’ll finally be back home, back to the place that I use to be and the people I love being around with, just can’t wait to get home. Love U all, and special thanks to Shaun, Evan and Janis ------ these few days the Gideonknights have really been a great encouragement to me. To Shaun --- YES, u are right. Distance is only a physical distance between us and our brotherhood will always stand firm (but don’t forget our lovely sister), Evan ---- Thanks, for all that u have done for your little twin bro, and the trouble taken on behalf of me. Janis ---- That verse was really very touching and encouraging, u just melt my heart with this summer. Papa and Mama ----- thanks for all your prayers and help and the daily sms filled with love and misses.

Friends, do u all now one thing???? I never tell Shaun or Evan that I love or miss them but ever since I come here, than we just tend to do that, telling each other how much we love and miss each other, like a bunch of new lovers.

We did It !!!!!!!!!

We finally did it. Out of the 8 teams, we are the only team that is able to finish the whole season by losing all our games, and yes not even a single draw or even a win. And guess what our only goal was from a penalty given to us. Other than that, there is nothing else. Although we keep on losing but I’m glad to play with this team, at least I got the chance to play football every Sunday and the spirit in the locker room is always very high, except for today. I am really very disappointed at how everyone played today, no semangat at all. So very sorry guys, the golden shoe didn’t serve its purpose at all. And my position in the team was as a right winger. See u guys back in Malaysia and let’s play football at that time. Btw, we have a lot of supporters and I personally picked up a couple of new friends in this journey.



*Problem from the previous blog had been solved, leaving a scar and a different side of view from Ivan. But Ivan learned from it and moved on in life.*

Turning of the Clock & changing of Everything

Things had changed for Ivan, everything in the turning of 12hrs indicated by his 25 Hours watch. He just feel a deep disappointment in the pump located at the center of his body and with Questions all around his Grey Mater.

One thing he doesn’t understand is that why can people change soOoOo…….. fast in just a blink of the eye. He ONCED had a friend that they enjoyed each others company, sometimes going to or coming back from classes together, they helped up each other in studies and joke at each others mistakes. However, just because of a little and stupid mistake that took place. Suddenly, Ivan is known as a stranger – a stranger that should never be near to or to even talk too. Why??? Why??? Why??? (Ivan asked)

It is not easy for Ivan to find a true friend over here or even someone that can make him laugh or joke together with. With this happening, what step than should Ivan take? Just forget about everything??? And tell himself that all these were just a dream??? A dream that have just been ended by the ring of the alarm clock.

Ivan did, not one but many prayers, hoping to make a good drift at the end of the cliff, he tried but was still treated as a stranger, Ivan had came to the conclusion not to push it too hard and just leave it to God – the Almighty God that he believes in, especially to resolve all his problems. If Ivan is able to make a clean and nice drift at the end of the cliff, than all Glory to God, who reigns high above everything, if he just happen to fall down the cliff, than don’t worry, his car is equipped with safety airbag. I believe Ivan will make it, because he have God for comfort and encouragement from FAMILY and friends that are reading this. He still LOVE God and gives Him all the Glory. God Bless…….. ;)

4th Malaysian Sport Games

“Stand up for the Champion” this is the song that I am hearing now.

It has been some time since I last took part and won in such a prestige’s competition. Volgograd got the 2nd position in the overall competition with 4 Gold – Ping-pong (M), Netball and Basketball (M & F), 3 Silver – Ping-pong (F), Futsal (M & F) and 1 Bronze – Takraw.

Overall, all of us had fun and made some new friends, and many of us lost our voice, including me. The food prepared for us was really very delicious and wonderful but a lot of them where wasted as many didn’t eat.

We arrived there at around 8 something in the morning, and immediately after coming down from the bus was the opening ceremony, than the competition went on until 11pm, we then only managed to check-in in the hotel around 12.30am. After washing up and getting some rest and my dinner, we than got to gather at the lobby at 7am in the morning. We than went on with our ping-pong (M) competition claiming the Gold Medal. After all the competitions, we washed up at the changing room and went for the closing ceremony in Malaysian Embassy in the open air. Isshh…….all of us where all well dressed, thought going Malaysian Embassy have to dress up properly but ended up have to cover ourselves up with our spring jacket as the weather was quite cold. All of us took a lot of pictures during that time. The closing ceremony only ended at around 11pm. Our bus journey should be around 16 hrs but I think the driver drove quite fast and we arrived back to Volgograd in a 11 hrs journey, whereby most of the time, everyone was sleeping as we where all tired.

Every one of us got a warm welcoming and wishes from our hostel mates. Our floor mates are even going to spend us dinner tonight. Waw……not bad huh, now I am just like on top of the world, hahahaha……………Feeling very lazy to study, tonight got Chelsea match pula and of course I am going for Chelsea.
